Surveys can be a great way to make a little bit of extra money online, you're never going to get rich taking them, but you can make a decent amount of money if you put your back into it. But if you're new to the survey world, it can be difficult to know which places you can trust and which survey sites are total scams. It's always worth checking reviews before joining up to a survey site because you don't want to waste your time, because when it comes to surveys, time is money and having your time wasted is really annoying (thanks very much Hive)
So is ipsos i-Say worth your time?
The home page of ipsos i-Say is fairly straightforward, there are a few polls and announcements, but apart from that, it isn't too cluttered. It's easy to navigate and the surveys are right there when you want to take them. All the tabs you need are right at the top and your points balance is clearly displayed.
I always prefer a cash-based system rather than a points-based one, I just think it's easier for everyone to understand and you don't have to spend time figuring out how much money you actually have in your account.
But thankfully ipsos i-Say has a relatively sensible points system when it comes to gift cards, for most of the rewards 100 points is equal to £1.
The surveys aren't as frequent as most other sites and I often find myself without any surveys at least twice a day. But when you do get surveys, they are worth doing, they pay quite well and you can see how much you will be paid and how long it will take, so you can decide for yourself whether it is worth your time. I prefer this kind of method rather than simply clicking on "take a survey" and being told it will take you half an hour and you will be given 25p.
The other good thing about ipsos i-Say is that even if you don't qualify or you are screened out, you will still be rewarded a small amount. It depends on how far into the survey you are screened out, the further you are along, the more points you will get. It seems to range from 5 points to 25 points, and I know 5 points isn't much, but it is better than nothing!
There are loads of rewards to choose from at ipsos i-Say, everything from Amazon vouchers to Dom Perignon champagne! They have a huge range of products from car care to wines and spirits and they are all various prices, I have never ordered one of these , I have always stuck to the standard gift cards, but if you have enough points then I don't see any problem in ordering them.
If a gift card says instant delivery next to it then you should get it within about half an hour of ordering it, I have never had any problems and have always had my gift cards delivered within about 10 minutes and I have also never had any trouble redeeming them.
So Is ipsos i-Say Worth It?
Yes, it is, it's not the best survey site out there purely due to the amount of surveys on offer, if there were more surveys then it would be an almost perfect survey site. But it is consistent, I make about £20 a month on ipsos i-Say and it might not sound like much, but it's enough to pay my broadband bill and have change to spare.
